Five Richard Mille Watch Alternatives from Affordable to Luxury - 2NDs

Richard Mille - a prestigious and world-famous watch brand which pioneers sports and racing watches, having collaborated with major brands such as Ferarri and some of the biggest celebrities in the world, including Pharrell Williams, Rafael Nadal and Bubba Watson.  Take a look at some alternatives from Affordable to Luxury, with similar looks to the Prestiged RM's.

Richard Mille - a prestigious and world-famous watch brand which pioneers sports and racing watches, having collaborated with major brands such as Ferarri and some of the biggest celebrities in the world, including Pharrell Williams, Rafael Nadal and Bubba Watson. If you have ever watched the Formula 1 races, chances are you have seen the brand name or one of their watches at some point, with Richard Mille sponsoring Ferrari and McLaren, hence the collaborations with their racing drivers Charles LeClerc and Lando Norris respectively. As they are a top brand reserved for the super-wealthy among us, we have compiled a list of Richard Mille watch alternatives if you like the style of their timepieces, but don't have $100k+ lying around for a watch:

The First Watch on our List is the Pagani Design PD-1738 Tonneau, which can be picked up for just $90 on their website. They have a range of colours to choose from, but some of them can be quite extroverted and loud, which is why we have chosen this quieter steel model, but if loud is your thing, go ahead and explore the others.

Obviously, Pagani Design have a reputation not only in the watch community but in the wider pop-culture and fashion community for being blatant copies or homages to luxury watches, but if you have a strict budget and like the designs of the out-of-reach pieces and you are not bothered by having a lesser-quality watch, they might be the brand for you. Remember, you don't need a $10,000 watch to be a watch enthusiast.

The Intrepid Sport - Ice White

Second on this list is the Ralph Christian Intrepid Sport. This watch is a step-up from the Pagani Design, but still aimed at those who don't have the biggest budget and care more about style than watch mechanics.

The watch is water resistant up to 50M and has a full stainless steel case and a range of silicone straps, so it will definitely wear comfortably, and for the retail price of $250, it is not bad value for money, and definitely stands out and will turn heads. For this lower price, it does have it's downside which may not bother those looking for style, but the movement is only a Quartz movement, so reliable, but nothing to write home about on that front. The reviews of the overall watch on the site back these claims up, with many complimenting the great style and comfortability of the piece, so should you listen to the crowd if this is sounds like this watch is for you?

Elemental-Carbon Fiber Automatic Watch TB8208CF

The Third watch on this list of 5 is the Tsar Bomba Elemental Carbon-Fibre Automatic. This watch is $500 at retail, and for that, you get a Carbon-Fibre case, automatic movement from Citizen - the Citizen Miyota 82SO to be exact - and if you put any of the Carbon Fibre Richard Mille Models next to this Tsar Bomba, if you were at a distance, I don't think there is much between them in terms of appearance.

Obviously for $500 this watch is nowhere close to the quality of a RM, but once again if you are looking for the style of said watches, this is the next level from the previous Ralph Christian due to having an automatic Citizen movement and higher-tier materials. Once again a range of colour to explore with this model, and plenty of other models that may suit your needs if you are looking for a Richard Mille style.

V 45 SC DT RCG KRYPTON 2 CARBONE NR (BL)

Fourth on this list is a big jump to higher luxury now, with the Franck Muller Vanguard, in particular the Krypton model, as it just has that extra flashy design similar to that of some of the Richard Mille's. All of the Vanguard collection is similar to Richard Mille due to the Tonneau case shape, which RM are reported to have taken influence from in the early days of the brand, yet have outpriced them due to the brand hype and technicality of their watches over Franck Muller.

Franck Muller, while less popular in 2025, were once a big name in the early 2000's due to the unique watches and celebrity endorsement. They still make high-tier watches despite the decrease in popularity, with models in this Vanguard collection housing Tourbillon movements, skeletonised pieces and sapphire cases. The Krypton is a racing-themed watch, hence the choice for this list, and the Vanguard Racing sub-collection could also make this list due to the fitting characteristics.

spirit of big bang black magic shot

The fifth and final watch in this list is the Hublot Spirit of Big Bang - mainly due to the iconic Tonneau case shape and the case screws being visible - similar design language to most Richard Mille watches.

Hublot is a controversial brand to include in the list due to the dislike of the brand from many prominent people in the community, and while some of the points may be true, the Spirit of Big Bang fits the purpose of inclusion on this list. This Hublot and the Franck Muller are both high-tier luxury, so they end the list on the highest end of the price range in RM comparison, as if you go more expensive, you can almost afford a Richard Mille itself, so the list ends at this price range.

The case of this Hublot is black ceramic, accompanied by a lined black rubber strap and it holds a power reserve of 50 hours and 100M water resistance. The movement in this watch is the HUB4700, a fully skeletonised movement.
